Christine Huffman works for CPM Educational Program, a company that started almost 20 years ago. The company writes CPM math textbooks for students from sixth grade through high school. CPM Educational Program is made up of very devoted teachers whose goal is to make CPM learning and math instruction easier for children to learn. If you’ve ever used CPM textbooks or an easy CPM guide, you know how valuable their resources can be.
About Your Work at the CPM Office
Christine shares: “I have two roles within the company. I assist the executive director and act as her right hand. My other role at CPM education is recruiting and onboarding. I interview eligible candidates, send out offer letters, and help them with onboarding at our CPM office. I’ve been with CPM Education for about seven years now and it’s been a wonderful experience. I love that I also have a hybrid work schedule — I can work from CPM home, but I also come to Business Workspaces when I want a change of scenery.”
What Keeps Christine Huffman Motivated
Christine says: “I’m pretty much a self-motivated person. I love what I do, and I know what I need to do each day to reach my goals. I have a clear order of things from start to finish, which makes it easy to know what my day looks like.”
Life Outside of Work
When asked what motivates her outside of work, Christine shared: “I’m motivated to find happiness in all that I do. My partner and I recently moved into a new CPM home, which has kept me busy. With two dogs, it can get messy at times, but I still find joy in organizing the house while listening to a podcast.”
Her Favorite Vacation Spot
“For me, anywhere near an ocean is the best! The views along the coast are amazing. So anywhere there’s a body of water, I’m very happy.”
How Business Workspaces Helps CPM Learning
“I chose to work at Business Workspace because I wanted a place where I could work outside my CPM home a couple of days a week. I really like the setup here and the flexibility of coworking. It’s nice to hear the buzz of other professionals and know there are people around to connect with. There’s always coffee and a kitchen for breaks. Everybody’s super friendly, and I love coming here.”
