At Business Workspaces, we enjoy talking to the remarkable people of our team, from our staff to our members. This month, we sat down with Shaina Osuna of Business Workspaces to learn more about her transition as our new Member Coordinator. Continue reading to discover what she brings to BWS.
Tell us about yourself.
First off, I am so honored to be a part of the Business Workspaces community! My name is Shaina Osuna, and I am the Member Service Coordinator here at Business Workspaces. I have lived in Folsom for the last two years, but I am originally from Morgan Hill, CA. My husband and I, along with our two dogs, moved out to the Sacramento area five years ago, and it was the best decision we’ve made! I absolutely love the Sacramento area; there’s always something fun to do, and it has the best weather!
Other than work, what else are you passionate about?
Outside of the office, I enjoy taking my two dogs on walks, going to the gym, and playing softball throughout the year and around the country. I love to be outdoors, but I also love to read, listen to podcasts, and learn new ways to improve in every aspect of my life.
What are some daily habits that you do to be more successful?
My morning routine is very important to me; I journal and meditate immediately after I wake up. Then I have my coffee and head to the gym to lift. Also, listening to motivational podcasts helps me see things from different perspectives. My next goal is to start volunteering and helping others more, which I think is very important.
What is something unique about yourself that most people don’t know?
I have played softball up until college, and I now play competitive slow-pitch softball and travel throughout the year to play all over the country. In January 2022, I was selected to represent Northern California women’s softball and compete in Florida. Continuing to play ball at a high level is such a blessing, but I am hoping this summer I can organize a league team for the members of BWS. It would be so fun if we could all go out there and play a game once a week!
Where is your favorite place to vacation, and why?
Currently, my favorite place to visit is San Diego. I love the weather, the views, the energy, and the beach of course! We went last summer and had a great time using the scooters to explore the city and the beaches.
Why did you choose Business Workspaces?
I chose Business Workspaces because of the energy my manager has. From our initial conversation, I could tell Brenda was passionate about BWS and making everyone feel welcome. With all the great things she had to say about her members and the company culture, I knew I wanted to be a part of it! I am so happy that I am now a part of the BWS team, and I am enjoying getting to know all the members here.
